Australian Sailing Number (AS#)
An Australian Sailing Number is your unique identifier in the sport of Sailing in Australia that recognises you as a member of an affiliated club. Once you register in the system, you will be issued with:
- An Australian Sailing number
- A system username
- An online profile

Learn to Sail with FCSA - Initial Registration
When you first register for sailing with any Australian Sailing affiliated club, you will be issued your own unique Australian Sailing Number (AS#). If a course with the FCSA is your first foray into sailing, you can create your AS# as part of the registration process for any of our programs.
Whilst this registration process through FCSA is free there is benefits associated: You will be insured through Australian Sailing's Network Marine Insurance for Personal Accident Insurance.

Attending FCSA courses and events
Once you are registered as a free 'Course Participant - FCSA' member of the FCSA, you can then sign up to any of our published courses and events through our 'Revolutionise Sport' landing page, hosted by Australian Sailing. This allows us to keep track of registrations for our events, whilst you also retain the history of your learning on your individual Australian Sailing profile.
